LUNA is a beautiful blue girl with natural ears and a docked tail who came to us from an Animal Control facility in Connecticut. At under two years old, Luna should be running around and having fun like any other young Doberman, but when her heartworm test came back positive, that meant weeks and weeks of quiet time and very little exercise. Luckily for Miss Luna, a foster home was found where she is currently recuperating with lots of TLC from her foster mom and is responding to her heartworm treatment. Once she’s recovered completely, Luna can go back to being a typical youngster. Because of her restricted exercise options we aren’t sure how she responds to other dogs at this point, but in most cases a young female is the easiest addition to a household with an already stable dog in place. As Luna gets back on her feet we expect to hear more updates about her potential for a social life.
